If you can do the engine for about £8.63 (what I have in my pocket right now) I'd be interested, but somehow I'm not sure that will be your lowest price! It's a shame there couldn't be a happier ending to this project thread though - but circumstances change.

I still have the exhaust, I have just offered it to another member for £350 so if he is not interested i'll let you know.

Don't be too dissapointed peeps, my brother still has his which is even more developed than mine and now running a stage 4 big valve Kad engine!

Hi Dan, Just been reading through your thread and noticed that you said you were doing a track day at cadwell on the 11th nov, I take it you did it, as i seem to remember an elise getting thrown about, I was there too in my track car, (daewoo nexia with an XE in it) wish i'd have known it was you because i'd have liked a chat about your mini. Doh! I might even have a picture of you getting on the grass in the elise at the bottom of the mountain. I'll have a look and post it up if I have.

Yes I remember the daewoo!

Throw the pics up - I didn't want to uncross my arms to put more lock on when I took to the grass, I reckoned I had just enough lock on and just about held it - what an awesome circuit cadwell is!
