right, i searched but couldnt find anything on this particular problem.
asked a couple of days ago as the nipple on the top joint wouldnt take grease.
i now know that both nipples will pump grease through them, therefore theres a problem with the ball joint.
anyone know why it wouldnt accept grease? if i poke around in it theres a bit of grease there, and then i can pump a little more in, but then the gun just locks again.
anyone know what this could be or shall i just buy new ball joints for the car?

Could be shimmed too tight.

Yes one ball-joint on my Mini is very tight and I have to use a great amount of force/pressure to get grease into it.

hmmmm.
it was in the garage a while ago but i think they only put a new track rod end on.
so if i unscrew the nut, the ball with the thread should move about yes? if not i take out a shim and hope it takes grease?
or should i buy new ones anyway...

No ! you would have to add a shim. But if you are going to those lengths I would buy a kit if I were you.hmmmm.
