I heard from someone that an Alfa Sprint or Sud brake booster works very well on a mini... anyone here try it?... apart from custom brake pipes, what else would i need to consider when doing this?... I have no servo/booster on at the moment... just 8" disks in front and the brakes are C**p...

The servo will not make them any 'better'. For better braking you will need to fit a better quality of pads and discs. Then you will DEFINATLEY notice a difference.

Mintex are good, Pagid are good too. check out minispares etc for brake options.
