Thanks guys  I was looking into a roll cage but the parents wouldn't let me get one because of insurace reasons, guess i shoudl have just gone and got it anyways! Ive got a few bits outa her to put in the new car, tThe new one is pretty perfect anyways. One of the last 500 so will look after her !

Dunno what speed, obviouljsy too fast for the slippery corner but if id been goin a stupid speed im pretty sure she would have crumpled.. Generally drive slower with the gf in the car anyways.

Will post pics up of the new one when i pick her up, she''s a red one, silver roof.

a rollcage could protect you, but also kill you...

Definatley good point, roll cages are critcal depending on quality and fitting! including condition of mounting points its always worth spending that bit more time and money to make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing when its fitted!

Every Mini driver's worst nightmare - a nasty crash which puts the focus on the (lack of) safety features.

Glad everyone walked away.

Something I realised the other day... Roll cages are ususally in cars where the driver wears a helmet.. therefore... you could quite easily knock yourself out with one...

Scary prospect...

Ryan...
