 sorry? what did i say it was :D :D

ha, only just seen that reply! Alright Alright, you were right.... now solve this. . . :gimme:

OK, last night i drove home from my mates house, got on the drive, got out the car and i could hear hissing. I could hear it coming from under the bonnet, and thought it could be the water thingy again, but it was about 2am and i couldn't be bothered to look, plus it was dark. Anywho, i've just checked and the water is EMPTY. I only filled it up the other day, and the time before that, i filled it up at the mini meet, on Thursday, it was really low then too.

When i filled it up today, it made a really funny humminh sound. . made me laugh! But it took a LOT of water again!!

If the Thermostat has been 'fixed' then it can't be that can it?

Any ideas ;D

The warranty has run out now, ironically it ran out yesterday. GRR

Thought i saw that at the mini meet but they said its where i spilt it when i topped it up, but i definately didnt spill it today!!

Grrr CARS!!

Edit: i need to go out and can only get there by driving :s is that a bad idea?

Right peeeeeps PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Its the hose that has gone, but i don't know which one i need to buy, so in a min i'm going to post up some photographs of Monty under the bonnet and an arrow to the bit that has broken and can ya help me get the right product on mini spares please. I have just been to PMA and some other local car parts place and they don't have them, which is annoying as i was hoping to get it today and it would be fixed fairly soonish, rather than wait for delivery. . . . .

But anyway

PLEASE HELP RAZ AND MONTY :D

Edit:

Posted Image

So ive put a label where the split pipe is in the following photograph. Could you please tell me what product it is on mini spares. My car is 1994 mini cooper 1.3i

This one? Hose 1

Or Hose 2

OR

This one

Hose 3

Do i need a rubber one or silicon ?

Who is going to be kind enough to help a blonde girl and her pride and joy. . . .

Silicon would probably last longer, and I believe they help with heat dissipation a little (not sure on that though). Rubber hose will be fine though for your needs.

I'm not sure exactly which hose you need, I'll move this topic to Injection Specific as the people in there should know! :D
