Sadly its not the fastest thing on the road, but its quick enough to look funny going past a merc on the bypass lol.
People are fascinated by it. I went to see Bean 2 a couple of weeks ago and when i left the cinema people were sat on it having their pics taken and stuff!
It was in the local rag recently too! I am not Rowan Atkinson, but kinda close hehe!

do you actually lock the padlock or is it more an aesthetical addition in keeping with mr bean's mini?

Hey! Welcome to TMF!
I like the attention to detail on your Mini. Usually I think its a bit of a waste doing that to a Mini, but I've changed my mind now, yours is pretty good!
I have to say though, if you could get a nice torquey large bore A-Series in there that'd just be awesome. Keep the 10" steels of course, and fit some Yoko A032R's, then you'd have the perfect street sleeper!!!
Anyway, have fun on TMF!
