I rather fancy polishing the alloy clutch housing up.

I have seen a few engines pictures on here that look fantastic, so what are people using to polish alloy and more importantly keep it looking good

I appreciate a shiny red on the block looks good, so any ideas and colour schemes would be appreciated as would be some pictures of all these shiny engines

I need inspiration on this one!

to keep Sir D looking clean, I jet spray the sump and undercarriage, then use a damp cloth to get the nsty dust/dead flys off most of the top eninge section cables hoses etc..then spray liberally with Auto Glym vinyl and runnber cleaner...leave to set for 10 mins on a warm engine, return and rub off any spray left on the metal or hard plastics.

..to save you finding an FAQ....as for clutch housing what guesworks said >_<
