Probably a fuse. Check your fusebox (under the bonnet, little black box at the rear of the engien bay, should just lift the lid off. Indicators are 3rd fuse down i think? Try them all though.)

yup, sounds like a fuse to me! have your reverse lights stopped working and your brake lights too? if so then its a fuse because i had this problem alot ;) revere switch was shorting everything out everytime i went to reverse somewhere! got very annoying! needed to stop it from touching the exhaust. stupid decat pipe.

It's the indicator relay gone pop, not a fuse. On a '91 it's under the dash behind the clocks somewhere. Little silver box with 2 wires on it. The hazards will still work as they are on a different circuit.

Dont buy cheap relays from Halfrauds :w00t:

I went through about 4 in a short period of time, bought one from the local motor factors which inidently looks exactly the same as the halfrauds ones and it has been fine for a couple of months.

Think halfrauds must have bought an el cheapo batch from somewhere that where dodgy.

You can also convert it to a newer electric type unit, just involves adding an earth wire in.

If you want to test if it is the relay, get a short piece of wire and put it between the two connectors, if the indicators come on (you need to switch the stalk) then its the relay. I know carry a short piece of wire with spade connectors in the car should the relay fail then I can stick that in and flick the stalk up and down O_O
