Hi again,
Not too sure if this is the right part of the forum, but the mods can move the post if necessary! The seams that go over the panel joints on my mini have started to get spots of rust on. How easy is it to take the seams off and put back on? I can't see how they are attached. I want to tackle the rust before it gets underneath the seam and becomes a big issue.

Thanks in advance,

they are usually held in place by clips iirc. you need to lever them off from the bottom and basically pull them off. just make sure they havent been welded on which i have had on cars i owned before.

may be worthwhile gettinf new seem covers and clips before you start just incase you damage them taking them off.

Minispares do stainless ones if you don't like the look of stainless you can
always paint them and no more rust.
