Hi everyone, im considering buying a cylinder head for my 1973 1275gt, its been rebored to 1330cc, but other than that its pretty standard. the head is the following spec. 35mm inlet valves, 28mm exhaust valves, and double valve springs. if anybody could tell me how much more bhp this will add, and also what it will do to fuel consumption, also, if i ported and polished it, how much more would that add? cheers, benn.

Do you have a copy of tuning the A-series by David Vizard??? its a how long is a piece of string question i'm afraid as there are too many variables to give a deffinitive answer... i take it you are on twin carbs?? what exhaust manifold and system do you have and what cam? you need to smooth the entire airflow from point of entry to the end of the exhaust as much as possible and get asmuch fuel air mixture in there as you can.

i don't see why not, but don't get to embroiled in BHP figures.... when i take someone out in the car and they say "F*** Me that was quick" thats good enough for me.. i'm guestimating that i have around 100bhp and 30-40 more when the nitrous is in full swing.
