just a quicky...
just been talking to my mate about trailers, and he said a lot of mini trailers don't use brakes, just hubs, how is this done???

Trailers up to a certain weight do not need brakes !

i'm guessing you use mini drum brake hubs and remove the shoes

i dont think so, because thinking about it noe, one i saw on riv run, didnt even have drums.

why do you need brakes for the wheel to be mounted to the hub, after all the brakes are mounted to the hub

You could leave the old drums on with the shoes in place just with the handbrake, and then when yuou park the trailer you can apply the handbrake and stop it rolling away (yes it does happen, i remember my dad chasing down a hill after a trailer once!!)
