We've got ours on a classic car insurance. Cheap as chips. Anyway it's only on for what we paid for it which is not a lot. So I phoned them up and said I thought it would be worth about 10 times that when Z Cars have finished with it. It was all slightly awkward then as they asked what modifications, exactly, have been done. And anyway they though that estimate of its value was a bit high. Slightly despondent as the last time I phoned them they said they knew Z Cars and it would all be fine. Dunno. We really want to keep it on the classic insurance. If it all gets sticky with this lot who do you insure yours with? Any problems insuring a Z Cars conversion?

Thanks in advance

Malc and Di

Just phone sureterm direct
Most people on here have theres insured on a classic car policy, Limited mileage, agreed value Etc or try Adrian flux but they were a lot more expensive for a few people.

Cheers

Adrian Flux - Agreed Value - listed as a z-cars mini conversion on a kit car policy, I'm 24 years old with 4 years no claims and I'm insured fully comp on a 7500 mile limited policy with european cover and recovery - £450.

Sureterm direct 1st year was £286 for mine agreed value of £15k ltd mileage of 5000 and the second year is about 230. Both fully comp :( No no claims taken into account as it's a specialist policy. On policy as R1 mini.

They required a letter of valuation from an independant person (Chris happily does these ;) ) And then 6 pictures of the car for their records. front back both sides, interior and engine.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. I'll call Sureterm anyway when the car comes back, it'll be interesting to compare.

Well after being on hold for nearly 1/2 an hour Adrian Flux quoted me £388.00
He also asked was the car modified in any way, very strange.
