Heres some pics of Phoebes bum and front end, i had the work done at a local bodywork place, they said it was a horrible job to do, but they've done it fantastically and i love the look! ^_^

mark you've given me the bug, im deseaming the rear of mine at some stage now.

looks cool plus i have a tow hook to act as a bumper lol

i know its a little different but got a pic of a miglias rear without a valance if it helps

personally i feel it wouldnt look right if it had the bumper also removed, its kinda one or the other lol

how do you go ahead fitting the plastic ones? they sound cool

i was under the impression that if u remove the rear valance it would fail an mot? obviously i know it doesnt aply to miglias

and yes with neither it would look very odd

sorry to dig this post up but just wondering:

Guessworks mentions that you can cut the lip back to 1/2 an inch - does this not remove the welds too?

Might angle grind mine a lot tonight :cry:

Oh also, say one was to remove the lip entirely - the valance then falls off completely. This leaves you with 2 panels to join - the boot floor and the rear panel. Is the structrue of the rear panel an integral part of being joined to the boot floor?

Its not like ill leave it like this - the boot floor will need to come out soon anyway so that a tank can take its place!
