for 998 best sticking to a single carburettor, the dual exit exhaust will on be a single pipe that splits into 2 at the rear of the car

getting a k&n air filter and a good tune up at a rolling road would be a good first step

Single carb will give better RR figures but twins give you more low end.

HS2 Twins for a 998, or stick with a single HS4 or the HIF 33 (that right?) alternative. Stick single for now as they need fiddling.

for the beginner singles are easier to tinker with, twins need someone who know what they are doing and helsp to have a rr

Just a question regarding using SU4 in 998cc engine with exhaust manifold. What's the correct inlet manifold to use and where to get one? All I have seen is a inlet manifold for twin SU carbs and the old cast iron ones with integrated exhaust.

(I'm asking this because friends current Weber is way too thirsty and I got additional SU4 that could be used instead)
