I have a Single Ramair filter for HS2 twin carbs on the standard Cooper manifold, and find that the inlet hole spacing is too wide on the Ramair mounting plate.I have contacted Ramair and they stated the spacing (152.2mm centre to centre)on the plate is correct for the setup. When I measure up I find it should be about 10mm closer together and that the inlet port distance at the cylinder head is the distance they state.
So have I gone completely mad or have they (Ramair) got the wrong measurement on their backplate, would some kind person measure there centre to centre distance on the inlet ports where the airfilters attach.
Thanks,
SteveR
