At least the sun was out today. The drive down was fantastic, but I got a wee bit bored down there as once you have been round once its all the same.

There were some very nice commercial minis down there.

At least I got the art of drifting the mini round roundabouts right, much to the annoyance of my passenger pmsl, so camac tyres do have there advatages

have to say some nice cars on show. good to see some that you have repaired on show, looking top dog, and why do companys still sell cover sills, they are a killer of the mini hertiage.

Million times better than last year. Set up camp (parked the car) with the TMF lot and had a wander round. When it came to starting the disposable BBQ, it wasnt having any of it. Little bit o' petrol soon fixed that. >_< Had some beer, went on the dodgems and bouncy castle, who then told us we all had to get off becasue people were diving off the high bits. Then we had a wander down to the local, where we met a guy called Jim who then came back to the tmf campsite with us. I'm sure everybody heard him  Then up at 4 this morning to get the car in the queue. We had a good run down once we got on the motorway, we even caught up some of the people that were ahead of us in the queue. The show was a bit same old, same old, but it was still very enjoyable.

Had a great time this year, weather much better than the previous! Everyone got a little sunburnt. Did anyone see my g/f's mini dressed up as a sandcastle? Was on the edmc stand. I also got roped in for the cart race, we had the deckchair! Was great fun, but made me realise how unfit i am!!!

Will upload some piccies later!

We were 2 or 3 rows from the front and our cars were all there before 4am... Saturday evening, the TMF Banner was up on the Palace Wall behind our campsite.... Kind of difficult to stay in convoy when theres 50 squillion mini's going the wrong waY through croydon.... sat nav got us to brighton in good time and we had a good look round and lots of interest in the clubman.... got a bit drunk on saturday nite, bottle of red and some Vodka..... burned my lips while cooking and sliced my thumb whilst trying to light the stove for rodders this morning.

Lots of people have dedication to there own club though it would be nice if those of us who only have TMF could do a club stand at some of the shows??? didn't see a minifinity banner either.
