if this was in the summer i would be deffinately up for this and i know many other mini maniacs who would be interested in this.

Is this deffinately going ahead?

What are the sleeping arrangements like? i.e. are we all sleeping in tents in a field or staying at planned hotels? Also what estimated costs will be involved?

Well, if it's like July or August, then tents seem like a good idea, cheap that way.

Why does charity have to be involved, its enough effort to actually plan the thing without worrying about sponsorship. Theres also the italian job thing already for charity

think of some of the people you could be helping by taking a little extra time t collect a little bit of sponsor money it wouldnt have to be much most probs as little as £30 Per Person

The idea of charity came about was because we want to put something back in, even if we raise £20 each its a little something towards people who are not as well of as ourselves oe people who need medical equipemnt and cant get it..

Defo involve charity.

That way, it's easier to blag stuff, if you know what I mean. Without seeming like a scumbag, if you approach a local garage, and get them to get your Mini ready for the trip in return for a load of stickers on your car then you can save a lot of cash. Otherwise, many people will simply not be able to afford the trip.

Also, any ideas as to how much we're gonna spend of petrol?

un sure,

if its 500 miles there, depends on how much driven around you wish to do, and 500 back to london and then home..

i reckon at a steady speed of about 60 you should get lots of miles out of that.
