a 2?

quite easy.. wire them through a switch out of the fuse box...

or wire them through a switch through the ignition wire.. (then your battery wont go flat because you've left them on - did this with kats)

Hey there. These would look sweet underneath the seats, think i might get some. But id wire them so that they lit up when the door opened. Grounding it is easy and you can just use the live at the switch that lights up the interior light. Its probably a 2..

Please note; My methods are rough and in previous occasions with electrics i have set my car on fire. :-

had these lighting up my amp on my old mini. they are very easy to wire up. wherever you mount them, make sure they are very secure - if the go wandering and start to bend they snap quite easily.

By the way, that price is a rip off!!

They are cold cathode neons, mainly used inside computer cases. I purchsed loads off ebuyer for less than 3 pounds a set last year.

I did this to my Corsa once, I wanted them to come on when I opened the doors. There are loads of legal things to be thought about if you want to drive with them on.

yeah i don't want them on while i'm driving... just when the doors are open!!

i had a set underneath my motorbike, they are easy to fit except i found the wires were very short, so they had to be lengthened.

they soon broke so i ripped them off and never spoke of neons again :withstupid:

If you only want them on when the doors are open you will need to wire it into the interior light circuit, it shouldn't be too hard. Check it out in the Haynes manual, if I get a minute and my car comes back tonight I will take look.

ooo thankies... = D will have a look when someone gets in who would know where it is :withstupid:

looking at haynes, it looks pretty confusing to me. i would just take the wires from the actual interior light, and run it down the door pillar.

but then thats me, someone clever should have a better idea.
