Building a 1330 engine

I'm starting to rebuild my 1330 motor. My question is do I need a breather on the timing chain cover and the clutch housing.
The gearbox is from a 998 so doesn't have one.

Frankly, yes. If you don't vent the crankcase you'll get a sluggish engine, plenty of oil leaks and nasty crud building up inside the engine. You need to ventilate it and ideally build a positive crankcase ventilation system to actively draw out and burn off the fumes collecting in the crankcase.
