who lives in or near London that can go to places to talk to the managers?
we would want it somewhere on the outskirts though of london

a services somewhere on the way to the ferry or something

if you can help please say....
and this job can be yours to sort out

you would be better off meeting somewhere after the M25, like on the A2 " the dover road!! " there are loads of services on the way!! better chat with minicooperman!! he lives in Kent...

its just a shame, im driving from germany!!! i would love to see that convoy of mini`s meeting and driving through europe!! :wink:

i think you are right about the service station it will be ideal and heads straight for dover

thanks for the recommendation Leigh, but other members from around the area can also help out.

well because we dont live down there if someone you you, could find us a large place to meet like a service station or something for us to meet

think you could do that for us?

maybe suply pictures if you got here so we can see the space etc..
and if its a good spot

we can contact the palce asking if we can meet there for a couple of hours waiting for the group to meet

i will look into it, there is an ideal service station but i cannot remember the name of it.

Can you put this up in the meets and events and ask other kent memebers for their help too, much appreciated.

south mimms is on the M25, by clackets lane!!

i know there is a BIG services by Folkstone!! with a BURGERKING!!!!

Clacket Lane and South Mimms are about as far apart from each other as it is possible to get on the M25! South Mimms services is furthest point north on the motorway (junction with the A1M) and Clacket Lane is the furthest south (Westerham in Kent). Clacket Lane might be a good place to overnight, as its not far from the M20 to Dover. If we met at South Mimms there would still be a long way to go to get to Dover. The only thing with Clacket Lane is that anyone coming from Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex would end up coming a fair way out of there way and then going back on themselves ( I am assuming people from Kent would go straight to Dover). I don't know what type of motel is at Clacket Lane, whether it's a Travel Lodge or something, but they might sponser the trip.

i'll be coming down the A1 from linconlshire, so i dont get lost, i dont know many places down south (even though im from there)...so an easy to find place would be appreciated

hows about we stop off at the ace cafe on the way, mod'n'mini night, last thursday of every month isnt it? we could go down to meet there and show the convoy to a big loada mini peeps + the mags usually goto the ace cafe. just a thought but keep us posted
