Rear wheel arches

1) Is it best to offer them up with the ride height at its lowest, mid or highest point?
2) How do people cover the cut edge of the body to stop any risk of it slicing the tyre if it touches the tyre?
3) I suppose I am worried about the arches being set too high or too low on the body and am not sure how to approach fitting them.
Any help most appreciated.
thanks

Having never done this before, whats the best approach to fitting rear wheel arches please? I have cut the rear of the body as per the DVD but obviously will need to trim a bit to suit the 13" fibreglass miglia arches I have. I have a couple of questions.

If its any help to you when i spoke to z cars about fitting rear arches they said that with the kit trail fitted in the car and a rear wheels on, to remove the rear springs on either side and cut the body so that the shock absorber can be pushed fully up to the extent of its travel and cut out the metal work to this so there is no possiblilty of the wheel touching the steel work, problem is the shock has a lot of travel so some people cut it so far and run bump stops in the shocks (limiting travel) to find a happy medium. Then with the springs back on and the ride height set something like you can fit the arch so the wheel fills it nicely, but again making sure that the wheels will go inside the arches upto full travel without touching the arch-that was the advice i was given-hope it is of some use to you
