One of my headlights is very dim like it is not getting enouh power. The other is fine. It is very dim on low beam and on high beam does not get brighter. Could the halogen bulb be going? I recently fitted some relays to switch them on but dont think it is that if one of them is working ok.
Any ideas anyone.

Thanks

When you say 'headlights' do you mean spotlights or the actual main headlights built into the car ?

You sure the main bulb is actually working at all? If it's very dim on both settings it could just be on the sidelight. Check the lamp earth, and the bulb itself.

If after checking the items mentioned above you don't resolve the problem, switch the offending lamp to the other side of the car. If the problem goes with the bulb, replace the bulb. If it stays on the same side of the car look for wiring problems.
