It's been a while, but I believe all that's necessary is to undo the big nut shown on the left of your picture and then push the shaft over towards the right. There should be a large flanged head on the right end which is keyed to prevent the shaft from turning and/or pulling through when the nut is tightened.

It'll be siezed into the bottom arm bushes, can be really hard to remove. Lots of release spray and leave a G-cramp wound up on it over night to keep the force on is the answer. It pulls through away from the nut, towards the large end.
