048's are the best i have used, the mini just refused to slide no matter how hard i pushed, when i went to the ring you were having to chuck it in corners at rediculas speeds to get tyre squeal

For a tarmac rally you really want the 048rs in soft. It may mean that they dont last very long but will deffo increase your stage times. Supose it all depends what you want

I've never had an issue with A539's probably did over 15000 miles on my last set, that included doing hill climbs and track days, and they were still perfectly legal when I sold them.
I just wish they made them in 10's

Thanks to every one for there help and comments, after all that I cant afford them!!!
Im going to run on my colway tarmac tyres, they are very grippy, they are just 165/70 R12 so they are a large profile which effects accleration and handeling.
