what time does the camping area actually open then guys?
As last year it was set at 4pm...

I thought that i'd read on the MITP website that the campsite was open from 12pm on Saturday if that helps. We should be there mid afternoon. Can't wait now, only 4 more days to go :D

Hi, hoping you can help. This is my first show I am camping at and I will taking my girlfriend and 2 kids aged 4 & 7, not sure what to expect. Is there a family area, dont get me wrong I am up for a party and drinking etc but unfortunately my kids want to go and not sure they would want to party well into the early hours of the morning. So not to sound to boring is there an area for families at Santa Pod away from the main camping area or is it all mixed.

Any information on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you go on the MITP website there is an FAQ section. Under there it says that there is a family section so you should be ok!

I think most people here bought their tickets either through che or through the official website. Sorry to hear that.

I got my tickets today too :(

Can someone go through what we do when we get there?

ie where do we park on Saturday afternoon/night - on the stand? Or in the main camping area? Is that stand in the main camping area?! Do we move the cars to the stand on Sunday? Do we pitch up by the car? Depends where the car is I suppose but I don't know where that is :)

Think I've sussed out the arrangement.....if its the same as previous years.

Basically the Saturday is not an official day of the show...therefore you basically park your car in the Camping area and pitch up next to it. I believe (don't quote me on this) that the Saturday is an 'open to all cars' RWYB(I'm not sure if you have to pay to get into to watch this??) and the Mini RWYB is the Sunday. Therefore from 7am onwards on the Sunday you move your car from the cmap area into the Stand area ready for the show to open at 9am.

Hi, I am hoping to camp on the Saturday, I believe there is going to be some entertainment for the kids, drinking area / music and open air showing of the original Italian Job, I think. Then on the sunday is the main MITP event, can we leave our Mini's by the tent and pack up later or do we have to pack up and move our Minis out to the carpark, I am not on a stand.

Cheers

Previous years you have been allowed to leave your car by your tent all day, whether that is the same this year as its a new venue I'm not sure.

right very confused...

club stands etc are on sunday which is when the main event is right?? And saturday is less offical/formal?

As I cannot get a stand ticket, if I go on saturday it wouldn't matter and then camp over night and leave sunday am as I have to go to sort univeristy stuff out?
