ROB , WAS YOU IN a 3 mini convoy going along the A52 about 9.00 am, from bingham??

if so was you in the middle of the 3, if so did you hear a dark green 4x4 honking at you as you passed in the other direction????

if so he said he parked about 5 cars away from you and your group. he said he may have seen you (a group of people) as he came in next to your mini (well in front of your mini so im told now)

Thanks to Rich (and friends) and Daniel for joining the convoy from Rugby, made 7 minis and Astra, and I don't think anyone spotted the slight detour .

Guessworks, I think I passed you on the A5 - just before the M6 toll road junction. I was tagging along with a convoy (of around 7 Minis and an Astra!) but got tired of the convoy speed, and went around... then promptly went off on my own little 'detour'! My son did give me the right directions... I just 'didn't hear him right'!!

Could have been, we shouldn't have been there, so I was too busy signpost watching, but once I found the A38 I was on familiar roads. Totally confuses me that bypass round Tamworth, and hence I miss all the turnings... last time I went through there, a Reliant factory existed !!

nah mark i didnt go in my car as i needed to buy a lto of bits and they just plain wouldnt fit in the mini lol

I dont think so.......Our enterage consisted of Astra, Laguna, 4 mini's, Hyundi and a big white van with AS Electrics on the side. I was parked inbetween 2 red minis somewhere up on the right.....I think!! :erm:

I looked out for a big 4x4 with stickers on - but couldnt see any!!

Hi Daniel - yes thats got to be me!!

Quite distinctive is the back of the car. Back window are 'Central Minis' and 'The Mad Hatter' stickers in pink. On boot lid 2 x Triumph Dolomite number plate lights and under the number plate are two chrome initials 'TC' :cool:

My forum sticker is on the side window!!

I cant post up photos unfortunately but may ask Scurvy to put them up for me!! :grin:

me and neil hadf a great run there but the hill was bad lol we wehre doing 50 at the bottom then about 10 at the top lol! thats if u came throught rugely but it was good o ntrhe way back

Talk about a que! dearly me! the disorganisation lol and we got blocked in in the carpark! good job we where in onew of the best types of cars in the world and could get out
