Hi Gang.

my speedo doesnt work. i've tried a couple of things and it's confused me now...

took the speedo cable off the back of the speedo and drove along, and the inside bit spun round.

replaced the speedo itself with one that works, and it still doesn't work.

what's going on?

any help gratefully received...

Regards

Tom

silly question but have you connected it back up properly also put a drill in the back of your speedo and turn it see if the speedo turns ?

The inner bit of the speedo cable might be rounded off and not square (didn't check that) . It might not have engaged on the speedo properly, or the inner cable might need greasing.
