Driving to work this morning and it's a bit foggy, so I put the wipers on and nothing
Any ideas what I should be checking? Please

flasher unit. All wiring too. Get ur meter out =p
What has a flasher unit got to do with the windscreen wipers?
Anyway I agree that it's probably just a pesky fuse.
Standard 4 fuse box mounted on the bulkhead.: -
1 1-2 35amp Brake Lights, Reverse Lights, Direction Indicators & Rear Screen Demister.
2 3-4 25amp Horn, Headlamp Flasher, Brake Failure Circuit & Radio Memory.
3 5-6 25amp Heater Blower Motor, Windscreen Wipers, Washer Motor & Instruments.
4 7-8 15amp Side & Tail Lights, Panel Lights & Instruments.

Try cleaning up the fuse box, or simply replace it if it's looking manky.

And I agree with taffy, the flasher unit has nothing to do with the wipers! Please make sure you do actually no the answer before guessing.
Moved to technical and problems.
