i did try to find my topic! couldent find it tho :)

anyhow here tis the progress! and stuff ive got!

My Seats:

Floorpans:

Attached File  big_hole.jpg   439.55K   41 downloads

the passenger side floor pan that has been cut out and welded in, and the drivers floor pan cut out
i decided to cut it all the way back to the crossmember as there was some rust in the corner of it

A-panel:

Attached File  a_panel.jpg   319.91K   38 downloads

my dad kindly cut off the a panel today and put some rust treetment on the hinge panel thats why its black, also you can see the drivers floor pan is welded in there.

ive got some more bits and bobs that i have, like a fiberglass smoothy boot lid, some disk brakes and a brake servo.

thanks for reading

Sam

Any info on engine build?

I dont like fibreglass front ends usually, but I quite like that one. It has lots of little features that steel panels do where as others dont.

i dont have a clue about the seats, all i know is its a dammed tight fit!

oh and your no longer gunna have the only a-serious.com car im haveing the logo seam to seam on both sides!.

the engine spec!

940casting head, i duno if the metro one would be overkill on the 998 turbo i know it is on the 998 n/a
obviosly the block pocket`ed to match.
the +60dished pistons from minispares to make it 8.3:1 cr ish. (i know it wont be a 998 anymore tho, 1040 summit?)
the rods i may just get cooper ones.

and the cam is gunna be a sw5.

oh and i almost forgot the mirage manifold setup with a t2 from a gt5 (not ideal but itll do for a while)

the crank i have thought about and maybe thats something i may need to change im still consulting people on that aswell as the gearbox

ive been thinking up an idea for some speakers in the car but im not gunna tell anyone what it is yet cus i dont want anyone to nab my idea! :dozing:

watch the seats on the doors as you shut them as my mate has a set in his and where the door shuts against them they've torn exactly the same on both sides, as you say theyr'e a damned tight fit.
