hi every1,

i was wondering if i put a hif 44 carb on my 1275 a series engine which has a maniflow lcb exhaust system (apart from that its standard), would it increase the
performance of the car on its own?

what carb did it have previously?

yes oli it will as long as you have the carb and timing are set correct

it's currently got a 1 1/2" carb.

If your old carb was a HS then the Hif is better. a 1275 will cope with a 1 3/4 carb. of course if the Hif is knackered or badly set up you'll lose more than you gain.

i went from a HS on my 1275 to the HIFF44 and i instantly noticed an increase in tourque, it was actually quite suprising how much of a diffrents it makes!!!
