Which mods to fit 4pots under 10ers?

I just posted this question in the FAQ but realised it wasn't the good place to do so...
Here it is : I recently bought a pair of 4pots from a metro. I was planning to put them on my '82 mini (which is supposed to get a D16 honda in a shortwhile) and I heard it could fit under 10ers... is that true? What modifications does it imply? I heard somewhere about redrilling mounting points on the hub, is that the only answer? How tricky could that be?
I know I should also turn down discs, that's ok since I have access to a lathe. Still, do you have to use Metro flanges? if mini flanges can be used, which ones? regular 8,4?
Another thing : is it hard to rebuild metro calipers?
Thanks a lot for your help!

If you use the 'search' you will find a wealth of information on this subject!
Indeed, I scrolled through the first page and didn't find anything useful but then, did ti again and the second one is almost what I wanted to know... Sorry about that...
you should have them done professionally really as to do it properly and safely requires some skill and precision. what bud says is basically it but it is better to have the original mount hole plugged and then a new hole re-drilled in the correct place. this then doesnt leave a slot and so helps prevent the caliper from moving. plus if you have the discs turned to 7.5" the the outside of the caliper doesnt need grinding. i have a set that have had this done that were one the car for about 10 years before i brought it and they were good as gold, although they are now in a box in the garage.
Cool, I might go that way then. Did you plugged it by welding them? Do you remember the measurements for redrilling or did you it quite randomly when it fitted?

If you are going to get the Metro callipers plug welded, it must be done professionally unless you happen to know how to weld cast iron. It isn't easy.
