Hi to everybody! I'm writing from Italy because i need your help! I have this caliper but nobody can tell me exactly in which car it's present. The people have said to me that it belongs to a mini cooper. I don't know anything else. Can you help me? Can you tell me in which car i can find it and the model? Moreover where can i buy a couple of this calipers? Thanks to all!!!!

Ps:Sorry for my bad english! :P

I would say that it isnt off a Mini at all, doesnt look like anything I've seen fitted ie not 7" disc 7.5" disc 8.4" disc or 8.4" turbo . If standard fit to the suspension in photo 1, its definatly not mini, as mini suspension is nothing like what the photo shows

cheers

You must don't watch the suspension because it is a old Fiat suspension. All the braking block it's of origin Fiat. You must see only the caliper!

i don't think it is a production mini caliper. it could be a Cooper Garages early Girling? Dunlop? Caliper fitted to one of their race cars

also, from the pic it looks to be made of alloy, which is definitely not mini

which seals would of gone?
is there meant to be a rubber seal between the calipers or something?

What type of discs did Innocenti fit to the Italian built Mini Cooper?

I imagine this fantastic site would know the answer and might be able to cast some light on you're question too perhaps: -
