I noticed my fuel cap was leaking so i thought right ill order a new one. Ordered a brand new genuine one off minispares and it fits even looser not even remotely sealing. Any ideas what i can do?

Make sure the fuel neck isn't damaged. All fuel caps should fit all tanks. If the shape of the neck or the flanges the cap locks onto are distorted the cap won't seal. It can be bent back to shape.

I look a proper look at the filler neck and noticed one of the 'prongs' was bent back so i straightened and its a bit tighter now but still not very. Heres some pics of the filler neck it looks pretty undamaged to me?
