I have a 96 cooper spi with side skirts and sportspack arches and desperately need my nipples greasing but i am unable to get my gun in to engage the nip's, so i am going to swap them for 90 degree nips but i need to know the thread size,.......any nipple experts out there?

Hi, I had a similar problem when i fitted sportspack arches. So I used a pair of nipples from the front suspension top arm; these have almost a 90degree bend in them and work a treat.

But not all Minis got fitted with that type of top suspension arm grease nipple and all the later Minis I've seen don't have them with a bend.

That's what I've got fitted to my grease gun, that way I can effectively grease my top suspension arms without having to remove the dampers. And no my grease nipples don't have a bend in them either unfortunately.
