So am guessing timeing?

Takes a few mins of cranking before fires up, runs with a splutter (nearly a miss-fire) and then once warm moves along well.

And whilst on the subject, the rev counter bounces around too.

Ideas?

Leak on the manifolds somewhere perhaps, is the idle erratic or going up and down when you get it going ?

Have you set the choke properly ? Mine will splutter if you pull it out too far when its cold :)

Well, fitted a Maniflow stage 1 with Somerford Inlet (whilst its nice and flat, the finish leaves alot to be desired) and all new nuts and washers. However, i might of fitted the maniflod gasket the wrong way, and the servo take off might not be sealing properly.

I used wd40 around all the seals and cant find any bubbles, so guessing no leaks.

So i reckon: timing, carb sticking and as for the rev counter, coil, loose connector or fuse connectors are shagged.

But before i get it on the rolling road, i need the bracket from gearbox to manifold.
