Turbo engine

I was wondering about doing a metro turbo swap, can anyone give me a rough ballpark figure, ikno you can get the engine relativley cheap at a few hundred pounds, but what modification must be made.
The other thing is insurance, ikno insurance companies love the two words "modification" and "turbo", as an excuse to get as much money as they can out of you. But for the money of upgrading a 998 you would get substansialy more power for your money out of the swap, and it has more potential if you were to upgrade it at a later stage. I dont want to start upgrading a 998 only to have to swap it firther down the line after losing all the things i have put into it.
this sounbds ok but i'm fifteen and looking for a project car, would it be stupid to look for insurance on a swapped motor at 17? I have heard talk of people getting classic insurance e.g. car of 25 years or more gettting insured by a 17 year old for £400 (third party). but other people have told you must be 25 to recieve this. also would these modifications render it invalid for classic insurance.
all help appreciated.

Theres no point looking for insurance yet, as in 2yrs time + time it takes to pass test, it will be well different.
As for most classic insurance policys, you have to be 21 or 25 and sometimes the car must be made before a certain date or be over a certain age. Most classic car policys cover limited miles and very few modifications, so the turbo might mean u cant get classic car insurance.
I would love to know a company that does classic insurance for 17yr olds, as i spent afew weeks ringing and looking.
On a typical 998 at 17, you are looking at £900-£1300 fully comp.
Go on your mum or dads and u may have a chance with the turbo and insurance.
my 2 pennies worth...
