Machining the pulley to accept a toothed ring would be easier and cheaper plus it gives you the option to mount the sensor where it suits you.

The SC kit looks a good bet for a bolt on mod.

You can get carb spacers (abutment plates ) with a vacuum pipe built in from Minispares if you really don't want to drill a hole in your inlet manifold.

I think, as megajolt / megaspark is a public domain "garden shed" project, it'd be difficult for someone to invest in building a business round as you'd have no rights to your own product.

It is considerably cheaper than it's competitors, like Emerald, who obviously have to try and return a decent profit for their efforts.
