What spark plugs for a 1380 sw5

Well, i suppose its a bit of both. The 'race' engine I used everyday on the road would eat type 6 plugs very quickly. Had to use either 7s or 8s.

NGK BP6ES or Champion NY9's will usually do the trick


These are not resistor plugs, either of them and if its an electronic ignition, you are shortening the life of your ignition components

It was the Champion N9Y's that i found in that MPi Cooper, no good. Champion are C**p!

if its just a road car then you dont need fancy plugs IMO.


Whats fancy about resistor plugs?
