What engine in mk1 mr2?

i am wondering if it would fit in the mosquito.

so if i know the engine, then can track down the size etc

Spag of V8 mini fame has put a mk1 MR2 engine in the front of a mini clubman

Very Very intresting, but i wonder if its possible to use the mini subframe, due to the fact my car has the subframe as part of it (welded in)

i don't know much about it part from he's done it and some details are on his website.
i did see it mini in the part last year, that all i know.

he is a helpful chap, gave me loads of info for my V8 conversion.

Yeah it is.

Well done on him for doing something brave and different. But my god, some of that is gashhhh.

Would anyone else feel slightly dubious about driving that?

dont worry me at all, lol

either brave or stupid!

but for me, its mid mounted just like my car.

so if it could fit in a mini subframe, then laffing.

IT"S A 4AGE lol i fell smart...though other people have said it :P ...theres one in the shop atm (engine) but i dont' know if it's mk1 engine...it's twin cam so...

Yea the mk1's came with the 4AGE engine (which are bullet proof)
and the mk2's came with 3SGE engines, or the 3SGTE for the turbo models.

So it would be a mk1.
:P;)
