actually anorak, them gp2's fitted to your red mini... where did they come from, as theyve got a pretty nice fit!

group 2 arches came from "the mini shop london", but i don't think their still around, are they ?? anyway, that was a few years ago now. they don't use the origional mounting holes


you can get the Mini special arches to fit over the trimmed wing, the trick is to raise the front of them slightly. you can actually pivot them around the rear most mounting hole and raise them at the front quite a bit and still have the rear sitting correctly (talking about the front end and rear end of front arch not front and rear arches)

another good trick is to hollow out the arch to give more clearance. the arch curves downwards away from the car and then cuts back under, well you don't need the bit that cuts under so you can cut it off and the arch will still be good and strong.

nah mini shop london isnt around anymore they got bought out apparentley

definitley go for a decent set of gp2's as i bought a cheaper set and they were over 1" out of shape, wasnt amused with the seller

yeah exactly! i wouldnt reccommend ever buying fiberglass arches off of ebay, if only for that reason! i've got a big feeling that huddersfield sell rubbish ones as well haha

The photos of the 5.5" x 12" with standard plastic arches aren't showing anymore.

Anybody got more?

I'm thinking of going 5.5" wide as the 5" Minators I have aren't wide enough. Although I think this maybe something to do with the offset???
