The final part of Top Gear presenter James May's 20th Century TV series is to show a 1982 Mini dropped onto a sheet of skyscraper glass tonight at 8.00-9.00pm on BBC2 according to my TV guide, in case anyone is interested. Might be worth setting the video/dvd recorder for?

On the advert it looks as though he drops it about a foot. I may be wrong or overly optimistic but it doesn't look like much of a drop

and stuff were falling off lol, why can't they use atleast a rust or knackered mini, why is it on all programs they use a fairly good rust free looking mini and :( it up, we want to keep them on the road, not kill 'em!!!

maybe this is the minis payback, we use them to catapult in scrapheap challenge, make them fly down a ski slope in top gear, and now drop them from 5ft......and in return, they force rust on themselves, and constantly say "ah :) this, i want to break down"

:P
