Yes, the pilot deffo needs replacing. >_<

Just spoke to my mini man. Expensive news. >_<

The steering rack is well & truly con*******ulated, so they'll need to drop front subbie to replace it.
The steering arm jobbie what sticks out of it is bent too.
2 x new tyres.
2 x new track rod ends.
Looking at a bill of 500 squids minimum. O_O

Poops. A costly lesson in driver awareness for the Juju. :shy: :ohno: >_< :withstupid:

You silly Moo!!

£500 isn't that bad, it could have been a hell of a lot worse, did you give the bloke on the bike some money to pay for his new pants as well??

As long as you're OK, that's the main thing isn't it. Sorry about 'Tilda though.

Your project title of Mistress Matilda should be changed to Moneypit Matilda methinks! :(

Yep, most of that bill will be labour. Ah well. She'll drive like a peach afterwards. (Do peaches actually drive?)

She is a moneypit, yes. But what else am I supposed to do with my salary? Pay the mortgage? Feed myself?? :bah:

Small ones are more juicy. :gimme:

I got my Matilda back last night. My wallet is £536 lighter, but I now have a car with absolutely zero play in the steering wheel. O_O :proud:
It's a very weird sensation. I don't think this has ever happened before....

I must admit I am a nervous driver at the moment. Captain Slow ain't got nuffink on me. >_<

Good, be carful with her!!!

At least she's back better than before. In a backwards way, some good came of it. Just keep an eye out for bollards in future!

Pffft. Wasn't a bollard. It was just a particularly high kerb, so ner. :P

It were bathtime on Saturday, so I took a few pics of her Ladyship.

Still wet. Her whiskers have überblinged her slightly.

It was a shame to put new rubbers on old wheels, but hey, it were my fault she needed them in the first place & car crashers can't be choosers.

Posted Image

Scabby wheel.

Posted Image

Bum is starting to show bubbling where it meets the valance. >_<

Then this little fella drove past and said hello!

Dry & shiny-shiny.

No inside pics because she needs a-hooverin'. :shy:

Matilda is looking perfect  Black and red

The W&P arches really look good. I wish my little wheels could fill 'em.

Thanks Mr James. to be honest, the W&P arches are more of a pain than anything. They NEVER fit properly, and tend to wrench themselves free every now & then. They're now more rivets 'n' holes that fibreglass. >_< If I'd known what a hassle they would have been I would have gone for Grp 2s instead.

Ta love!

Hmm that's good to know Ju! I may go back to my plan of colour coded standard arches if that's the case. But W&Ps do look so right!
