hola. a few of you may know but Jake Blues, TC, Josie and I couldn't make Nurburgring this year, so decided to go straight from southern mini days. well we have just got back, had a great time, got scared silly going round the ring in a 36 year old car. got very wet as the weather hasn't been good there this summer. will post a fuller report with photies after i have had some kip

afternoon all. just uploaded my photies from our road trip through france, belgium and germany, also some there from SMD. and also found this photo on the nurburgring website.

anyone who SMD might recognize some items that we took on our road trip!!!!


ahh just remembered the garage, in the pics is a mini garage not far from the track, with the worlds tallest mini mechaninc, lots of interesting parts, weird wheels and a couple of 1300 gt's

haha. think i might have met one of your group on staurday night at SMD in the bar/entrance, i have the other statue figure, i woke up and found it in my tent sunday morning.lol

mini boo, the extra rad was a bit of a quick fix, but it worked really well. cowboy and i just tie wrapped a heater matrix to the front grill, on the inside that is, connected the heater take off hose on the left of the head to the matrix, and the other end of the matrix onto the heater hose. cowboy recommended connecting it to the other side of the heater so the hot water heated your car first then got cooled before being returned to the engine, this should work as well, and i will change it over if the heater in the car doesn't get hot enough in the winter, will try and get a pic for you.

Sounds like what I have done with my Van, plumbed in a Heater matrix as a secondary rad, thats cooled by air flow only.
