[Jake Blues]

We left the hot sun of England and woke to rain in France, it picked up through Belgium and Germany and once we had set up camp, had our barbie and cracked open the first beer we settled down to watch the sun disappear over the tops of the trees........then it started to rain......and rain .....and rain. When it stopped raining it drizzled and when it stopped drizzling it was misty. It got dry enough on Wednesday afternoon to get in one lap before the track was shut due to accidents then it started to rain again!
By the time we packed up our area was like Glastonbury! Can't believe we were wearing three layers of clothing including a winter jacket in August!
Anyway it was great to be able to put a 'Ring sticker on Jake knowing that he had actually been round the Ring and it was lovely to see the sun again once we got back into France on Friday afternoon!
We had no trouble with the cars except for a bit of a misfire on Jake on the way home because of the damp conditions which was cured with some WD40 and a placcy bag and once we had left Germany it was dry anyway.
How ironic was it that the Nordshleife was closed most days beacuse BMW had it block booked!!! Of all the car companies in all the world....
