all kits work on the same principal, Wizards claim to have better solenoids (don't they all)

May be better making your own kit up by buying parts cheap on ebay.

I got a 25lb bottle (full) for £70 the basic kit was £100 which included fuel t piece, bottle connector, nitrous hoses, fuel hoses solenoids, micro switch, missile switch injector and several jets.

Then i got a Schnitz controller which pulses the sollenoids to bring the gas (and extra fuel) on slowly so as not to break wheels loose of the tarmac with the sudden increase of power..... this alows me to run 100 HP jet set up and start at as low as 10 per cent power and increase as needed (it will ramp up over a period of time up to whatever max power i need.)

also how long does the bottle last?

do Minis run better on the "wet" (wizards) or "dry" (others) system?

wet.

dry nitrous is only any good in very small doses where a car has EFI and a lamda so that it can increase its own fuel supply to try and make an ideal mixture... wet kits induce extra fuel and liquid nitrous in the correct proportions and give much bigger gains.

you will need an electric fuel pump to cope with the requirements though.

Here is the source of all of my Nitrous knowlege..

A bloke called John Williamson who used to design and build dyno's (rolling roads) and drag race motorbikes... basically, he got hold of a nitrous kit to see how it all worked but was able to develop his own kits and do real time tweaks as he had is own private dyno at his disposal. He has done for Nitrous what Vizard did for the A-series and tested pretty much every kind of engine to destruction.

He was paralysed in an accident and now designes special wheelchairs that can climb stairs.

NITROUS LINK

there are links to all his stuff on this page so happy reading.

If you my dad's mate it can throw the rod from your new Chevrolet, clean into the tarmac of a Nevada road. Meaning a call to the wife to pick you up.

25-30hp should be adequate without risking the engine too much (i am refering to detonation not general wear and tear)
