wizards are the best from what i've been told.

and seen

to be honest, most kits are petty much the same as each other. the only way a Wizards of Nos (WON) kit claims to be different is in the quality of the pulsoid solenoids which they claim are far less likely to have problems and are designed to pulse unlike others....

My cold fusion ones pulse just fine. Basic kits have an on/off switch for when the throttle is fully open.. as long as your jets are set to the correct mixture (slightly richer than stoich) you will get the same HP and torque gains across the width of the rev range... basically the same pattern on a dyno but 25hp (if set to 25hp) higher. This is imoprtant to remember because at lower revs where power is less, you are subjecting the engine to huge amounts of torque which is not so much a problem in low gears as the engine can soon pick up to speed, but if you give it an extra 25hp at very low revs in 4th gear, the engine won't last long.

By pulsing the solenoids (using a programmer not just switching on and off by hand :xxx: ) you can control the initial hit by adding nitrous/fuel mix in small bites. the controller manages the length of the burst and the frequency and can increase this over a period of upto 10 seconds so that the nitrous is progressive and less likely to cause low end detonation or gearbox trouble.

NITROUS IS NOT LEGAL FOR ROAD USE!!!!!!! from what i understand It is not legal to use nitrous oxide on the road. It is not illegal to have it fitted though.. you are more than likely to be done for dangerous driving or excess speed well before they realise that nitrous is fitted and hopefully the valve would have defrosted by then. i think the fine for speeding and DD well outweight the likely for nitrous.

i also had to pay £250 per year extra on my insurance and only footman james would do it.
