What about the bonnet pins at the back (windscreen end) and rubber hooks at the front?

They look ace, are they easy and cheap to fit to carbon fibre bonnets?

I like the leather straps myself. Those aero catches look nice but looks like a bit of work to fit em.

they come with a template showing you where to cut.

takes about the same amount of work and time as standard pins.

yes they do work well with carbon bonnets.

trust me, in a few years they will be the only catches allowed on competition cars, due to the fact they dont have any sharp pins etc in the air.

Why would you end up in tears with the cheap ebay ones?

the cheap ebay bonnet pins i bought started to rust! and the were supposed to be stainless. i think you can buy a pair of these aerocatches for around 30-40 quid on ebay
