do the aero catches come in different sizes? I've seen something on demon tweaks about flush and plus flush kits, whats the difference when it comes to fitting? Apparently one sits perfectly flat with the bonnet.

Could you use those aerotech catches on a boot aswell instead of pins?

leather straps - as long as you fit them correctly (i used locknuts and hex heas bolts) - i only have one on my car and it got me through the mot - (without the main central bonnet latch - because it never worked so ripped it off with a grinder :xxx: ) so all that holds me bonnet down is the leather strap and metal hook thing - and its damn strong

and has that retro look that we all aspire too :xxx:

The thing is i'm after the removable bonnet cause i don't want the hinges on the car so the strap wouldn't work i don't think.

I've just seen some removeable hinges in the MiniSpares catalogue, just like the standard ones accept you can unclip them from the car... saves doing bonnet alignment jobs!

you could use aerocatches on the boot but i wound use the plus-flush ones that sit on top.

here are the ones which sit below the surface so that they look flush.
