Finished spraying a bonnet to test the chosen colour, decided I quite liked it, phone paint geezer to order more paint only to find its actually MG ZR pearl blue.

Its put me off a bit knowing that it'll match the chav-tastic sprint demons down the road - what do you think? crack on or pick another colour??

I only picked the colour off a card - didnt think to see what its originally used on. :D

Well it dose look great, and it's good job you've donw there, but Personally,.. an awful lot of minis are that colour... and hence it puts me off that colour all together.

If you like it,... then i'd say go for it... but perosnally, I'd want something a little different to make this project stand out.

Ford olympic blue perhaps?

you want a different colour, something more unique - tis nice, but there is alot of other cars around in that sort of colour, you want something that is going to stand out more. :D tis nice though - dont get me wrong.

if you mean what I think you mean I have a chameleon paint scheme on the cabriolet - Cadburys purple with an orange / yellow / blue candy flip.

this one was meant to be a fairly subtle but fresh colour what would work nice with a white pearl roof and a union flag but in 2 shades of blue rahter than red and blue over white.

thanks for the comments though. :D

go for the blue of the nissan 350Z. That colour is great.

I would my self but I want MG Trophy Blue as it is still a rover colour and I have a ZR engine in the car!
