Because im having a new dash im going to be putting in new non standard switches. Just the toggle sort. But i was wondering the the switch itself for the hazards has to flash aswell as the indicator lights on the dash? Because every car has the flashing switch i wasnt sure if it was a legal requirement?

are you sure about the fog light? because id say the majority of cars now dont have a switch which lights up for the rear fog light

unless the majority of new cars dont have foglights then they wouldnt have a switch. they'rebuilt into the headlight switchs on some cars, although most people dont know how to turn them off.

and yes, you need a warning light or an illuminated switch for the foglight, and it should be marked as well

so if i had a bulb that lit up on the dash when the rear fog light is switched on and it had fog light written underneath it this would be ok?

how about with the hazards? would a bulb on the dash labelled hazards be ok or does it need to be the actual switch which flashes?
